How We Transform the Lives of Draft Horses
Draft Horses are often overlooked and misunderstood, leaving many of these gentle giants vulnerable to neglect, abandonment, and even the threat of slaughter. But there is a sanctuary where these magnificent animals find a second chance at life—Working Draft Ranch.
Our dedicated horse rescue is on a mission to provide shelter, care, and a lifelong home for rescued, abused, and homeless Draft Horses, while also educating the community on the importance of understanding and supporting these unique equines.
At the heart of our efforts is a deep compassion for the well-being of Draft Horses. With their impressive size and strength, these horses often end up in kill pens simply because people lack the knowledge and resources to train and care for them properly.
Recognizing this, we made it our priority to rescue these horses from the brink of slaughter, rehabilitate them if necessary, and offer them a more gentle and fulfilling life.
What We Do

Horseback Riding
